Discharge Headlight Control Module Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
  • Incorrect servicing of the discharge headlight control module could result in electrical shock. Read the service warnings before handling the discharge headlight control module. (See DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT SERVICE WARNINGS .)
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the front combination lights. (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the screws.

  5. Disconnect connector A.
  6. Set aside the cover and disconnect connector B.

  7. Remove the discharge headlight control module.
  8. Rotate the cover in the direction of the arrow shown below to remove it.

  9. Rotate the connector in the direction of the arrow shown below to remove it.

  10. Remove the short cord.

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
