Rear Body Control Module (RBCM) Bracket Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Rear scuff plate (LH) (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Tire house trim (LH) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Trunk side upper trim (LH) (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. Trunk side trim (LH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    10. Rear body control module (RBCM) (See REAR BODY CONTROL MODULE (RBCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the bolts.
  4. Remove the screw.
  5. Remove the rear body control module (RBCM) bracket.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
