Shift Panel Removal/Installation: MTX

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, (with commander switch) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL .) (See UPPER PANEL INSTALLATION .)
    2. Shift lever knob (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
  3. Remove the shift panel in the direction of the arrows in the order of (1), (2), (3), (4) while detaching hooks, clips A and clip B.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
