Lower Panel Removal/Installation: Driver-side

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Driver-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Driver-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
5. Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8. Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
9. Side wail (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
10. Front console (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
11. Hood release lever (See HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
12. Fuel-filler lid opener lever (See FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove bolt A.

Pull the driver-side lower panel in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2), (3) while detaching clip B, hooks C and pin D.
Pull the driver-side lower panel in the direction of the arrow in the order of (4), (5) and remove it while detaching clips E and guide F.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
