With Manual Air Conditioner System: Inspection

Switch the ignition ON.
Verify that the rear window defroster switch LED illuminates using the rear window defroster switch.
Verify that the heated outer mirrors and rear window defroster warm up.
- If the heated outer mirror and rear defroster do not warm up, perform an inspection of each related part.
  Inspection of rear window defroster control signal reception condition for front body control module (FBCM)
  - Use the front body control module (FBCM) PID/data monitor inspection DEFOG_R_CS to inspect the rear window defroster control signal reception condition. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)] .) (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)] .)
  Rear window defroster relay ON/OFF control inspection
  - Measure the terminal voltage at the front body control module (FBCM) terminal 1 P. (See FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM) INSPECTION .)
  Rear window defroster relay inspection
  - Inspect the rear window defroster relay. (See RELAY INSPECTION .)
  Rear window defroster inspection
  - Inspect the rear window defroster. (See REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER INSPECTION .)
  Heated outer mirror inspection
  - Inspect the heated outer mirrors. (See OUTER MIRROR GLASS INSPECTION .)
