License Plate Light Removal/Installation: 4SD

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the trunk lid recess. (See TRUNK LID RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the trunk lid trim. (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the connector.

While pressing the license plate light hook in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, press the license plate light in the direction of arrow (2), and disconnect the license plate light hook from the trunk lid.
CAUTION:
- When removing the license plate light from the trunk lid, the license plate light could fall off and be damaged. Remove the license plate light from the trunk lid while holding the license plate light on the lens side with a hand.

Remove the license plate light.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
