Buckle Switch Inspection: Driver-side

Switch the ignition to off.
Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] ).
Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the front buckle. (See FRONT BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the front buckle.
