Rear Outer Handle Removal/Installation
- Fully close the sliding door glass.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts:
- Side door garnish (See SIDE DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear side trim (See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sliding door trim (See SLIDING DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sliding door quarter glass (See SLIDING DOOR QUARTER GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sliding door glass (See SLIDING DOOR GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sliding door power window motor (See POWER WINDOW MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sliding door inner handle (See INNER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remote controller (See REMOTE CONTROLLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sliding door module panel (See SLIDING DOOR MODULE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the rod from the rear outer handle.
- Remove the bolts.
- With the front side of the rear outer handle fixed and the rear outer handle lever pulled out (1), remove the front side of the rear outer handle from the sliding door.
- Pull out the rear side of the rear outer handle from the sliding door.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
