Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System

  1. Connect the M-MDS (IDS) to the DLC-2.

  2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the IDS.
    • Select "Module Programming".
  3. Then, select items from the screen menu in the following order.
    • Select "Programmable Parameters".
    • Select "RKE".
  4. Select the item name, and then select option.

    Advanced keyless function The setting can be set either to operate the advance keyless entry system (Enable) or to not operate it (Disable) Enabled Disabled/ Enabled Keyless control module
    Advanced key battery low warning The setting can be set either to operate the advanced key battery voltage low indication (Enable) or to not operate it (Disable). Enabled Disabled/ Enabled Keyless control module
    Auto Lock The setting can be set either to operate the out-of-area (reception area) type auto lock function (Enable) or to not operate it (Disable). Disabled Disabled/ Enabled Keyless control module
    2 stage door unlocking (with AKE) The setting can be set either to unlock (Enable) only the driver-side door or to unlock (Disable) all the doors when the request switch is pressed. Enabled Disabled/ Enabled Keyless control module
    Answer back buzzer volume The volume of the answer-back buzzer can be adjusted. 8 Disabled/ 1-10 Keyless control module
    Warning buzzer volume The volume of the warning buzzer can be adjusted. 8 1-10 Keyless control module
    Unlocking doors interlocked with opening liftgate (for 5HB only) The setting can be set either to unlock all the doors when the liftgate opener switch is pressed (Enable) or to not unlock them (Disable). Disabled Disabled/Enabled Keyless control module
    Auto relock timer (with AKE) The operation start time of the auto re-lock can be changed. 30 s 30s/ 60s/ 90s Keyless control module
    ACC auto off The setting can be set either to automatically turn off the ACC power supply (Enable) or to not turn it off automatically (Disable). Enabled Disabled/Enabled Keyless control module
    Power off mode The setting can be set to transit the power supply either to OFF (Direct) or to ACC (Stepwise) when the push button start is pressed to turn off the engine. Direct Direct/Stepwise Keyless control module
