Resistance Inspection

1. Disconnect the APV position sensor connector.
2. Measure the coil resistance between APV position sensor terminals A and B or B and C.

• If not within the specification, replace the APV position sensor. (See AUXILIARY PORT VALVE (APV) POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

APV position sensor No. 1, No. 2 resistance Except for ∞ or 0 ohms [at room temperature]
