DTC P1260:00 (L3 WITH TC) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC P1260:00 Immobilizer system problem
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • The instrument cluster detects an immobilizer system malfunction.
Diagnostic support note 
  • This is a continuous monitor (other).
  • The MIL does not illuminate.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is not available.
  • DTCs are not stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Immobilizer system malfunction
  • PCM malfunction
