Knock Sensor (KS) Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI 3.7 V6] .)
2. Disconnect the KS connector. (See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Measure the resistance between the following terminals:

• KS terminals A and B (KS (RH))
• KS terminals C and D (KS (LH))

• If not as specified, replace the KS. (See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

KS resistance 

Approx. 4.87 megohms [ECT: 25°C {77°F}]
