Trunk Lid Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the recess. (See RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the trunk lid trim. (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the trunk lid latch and lock actuator. (See TRUNK LID LATCH AND RELEASE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Press the latch in using a flathead screwdriver to inspect the latch lever condition.

Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

If not as indicated in the table, replace the trunk lid latch and lock actuator.
