DTC P2503:00 (MZR 1.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Charging system voltage low input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If 5 s or more
have elapsed with the generator output voltage 8.49 V or lower
and the battery output voltage 10 V or more (even though the generator target output current while the engine is running is 19.5 A or more
), the PCM determines that the charging system circuit has a malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (other).
- The MIL does not illuminate.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is not available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

- Drive belt exceeds limit
- Generator connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Generator terminal D-PCM terminal 2AF
- Generator terminal P-PCM terminal 2AE
- PCM connector or terminals malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Generator terminal D-PCM terminal 2AF
- Generator terminal P-PCM terminal 2AE
- Generator malfunction
- PCM malfunction
