DTC P2123:00 (MZR 1.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

APP sensor No. 1 circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If the input voltage is 4.8 V or more
, the PCM determines that the APP sensor No. 1 circuit input voltage is high.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- APP sensor connector or terminals malfunction
- PCM connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between APP sensor terminal F and PCM terminal 1Z
- APP sensor No. 1 power supply circuit and signal circuit are shorted to each other
- Open circuit in wiring harness between APP sensor terminal E and PCM terminal 1B
- APP sensor No. 1 malfunction
- PCM malfunction
