DTC P1384:00 (MZR 1.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

OCV circuit malfunction |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If any of the following conditions are met during the KOER self test:
- The PCM cannot control the actual valve timing at the target valve timing.
- The PCM cannot hold the valve timing.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (other).
- The MIL does not illuminate.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is not available.
- The DTC is not stored in the PCM memory.

- Improper operation of variable valve timing control system
- CMP sensor malfunction
- OCV malfunction
- Variable valve timing actuator malfunction
- Hydraulic passages blockage and/or leakage
- Improper adjustment of valve timing
- PCM malfunction
