DTC P0222:00 (LF, L5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

TP sensor No. 2 circuit low input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If the PCM detects TP sensor No. 2 voltage is to be below 0.2 V after switch the ignition to ON, the PCM determines that TP sensor circuit has a malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Throttle body connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Throttle body terminal B-PCM terminal 2AR
- Throttle body terminal C-PCM terminal 2AL
- PCM connector or terminals malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Throttle body terminal B-PCM terminal 2AR
- Throttle body terminal C-PCM terminal 2AL
- TP sensor No. 2 malfunction
- PCM malfunction
