Spring Lock Couplings: Disconnect

Release the fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
Disconnect the battery ground cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
Remove the safety clip from the spring lock coupling.

Insert the special tool onto the fuel tube and into the spring lock coupling.

Separate the spring lock coupling from the fuel tube.
