Pump Assembly Disassembly/Assembly: Disassembly

Remove the filter from the pump.
1. Rotate the filter 90 degrees clockwise.
2. Pull the filter out of the pump.

Remove the magnet from the filter.

Assemble the Slide Hammer and 3/4 Inch to 7/8 Inch Collet and remove and discard the input shaft seal.

Remove the pump-to-torque converter housing seal.

Using a suitable dent puller, remove the torque converter hub seal.

Position the pump assembly in the torque converter housing and install 2 pump-to-torque converter housing bolts hand-tight.

Loosen the 23 pump bolts.

Remove the 2 bolts and the pump from the torque converter housing.

Remove the 23 pump bolts and separate the pump halves.

Remove the pump gears.
NOTE:
- The dot on the inner pump gear faces up.

Compress the main pressure regulator valve spring with a screwdriver and remove the retainer with a magnet.

Install an M4 bolt in the valve and remove the main pressure regulator valve assembly.

Compress the TCC control valve spring with a screwdriver and remover the retainer with a magnet.

Remove the TCC control valve assembly.
