Transaxle Installation Note

WARNING:

Install the transaxle carefully, holding it steady. If the transmission falls it could be damaged or cause injury.

CAUTION:

To prevent the torque converter and transmission from separating, install the transmission without tilting it toward the torque converter.

Set the transaxle on a jack and lift it.
Install the transaxle mounting bolts.
Bolt length (measured from below the head)

A: 50 mm {1.967 in}

B: 65 mm {2.559 in}

Tightening torque

37.3-52.0 N.m

{3.8-5.3 kgf.m, 27.6-38.3 ft.lbf}

Install the brake pipe the clip B.
Install the clip A.
