DTC P2100 (L3) DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSES

Throttle actuator circuit open |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- Difference between the target and actual throttle positions exceeds the specified value.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Poor connection of the throttle body connector
- Throttle valve motor malfunction
- PCM connector or terminal malfunction
- Open circuit between throttle body terminal F and PCM terminal 2BE
- Open circuit between throttle body terminal E and PCM terminal 2BF
- PCM malfunction
