Component Test - Window Control Switch - Driver Side

  1. Remove the window control switch. See WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  .
  2. Inspect for continuity between the window control switch terminals using a self-powered test light or an ohmmeter.

    Circuit to Test Connect Self-Powered Test Light or Ohmmeter to Terminals Move Switch to These Positions A Good Switch Will Indicate
    Switch Lock 2 (0912-201a) and 1 (0912-201b) Unlock Closed circuit
    Lock Open circuit
    Left front window circuit 2 (0912-201a) and 5 (0912-201a) Up Closed circuit
    Right front window circuit 2(0912-201a) and 3 (0912-201a)
    2 (0912-201a) and 8 (0912-201a)
    7(0912-201b) and 8 (0912-201a)
    7 (0912-201b) and 3 (0912-201a)    		 Down Closed circuit
    Up Closed circuit
    Rest Closed circuit
    Left rear window circuit 2 (0912-201a) and 1 (0912-201 b)
    2 (0912-201a) and 6 (0912-201b)
    7 (0912-201b) and 1 (0912-201b)
    7 (0912-201b) and 6 (0912-201b)    		 Up Closed circuit
    Down Closed circuit
    Rest Closed circuit
    Right rear window circuit 2 (0912-201a) and 8 (0912-201b)
    2 (0912-201a) and 4 (0912-201b)
    7 (0912-201b) and 8 (0912-201b)
    7 (0912-201b) and 4 (0912-201b)    		 Up Closed circuit
    Down Closed circuit
    Rest Closed circuit
