Fuel Pump Resistor Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[L3 WITH TC] ).
  2. Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Disconnect the fuel pump resistor connector.
  4. Remove in the fuel pump resistor.

  5. Install in the order as shown in the figure.

    Tightening torque 

    4.2-6.2 N.m {43-63 kgf.cm, 38-54 in.lbf} 

  6. Connect the fuel pump resistor connector.
