Dismounting/Mounting Procedures: Notes

CAUTION: The tire should be dismounted from the wheel using the tire changer manufacturer's instructions. Use the following information to avoid damage during the dismounting/mounting procedures.
NOTE: For vehicles with different front and rear tire pressures, the tire pressure sensor must be trained after a wheel rotation. Otherwise, the TPM system is not affected after a wheel/tire rotation. After the replacement of a tire pressure sensor and/or smart junction box (SJB), the tire pressure sensor must be trained. See RESET PROCEDURES .
NOTE: The use of run-flat tires (tires with steel body cord plies in the tire sidewall) when vehicle is not originally equipped is not recommended, as it may cause TPM system to malfunction.
