Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) System

The RKE system consists of the following components:

The RKE transmitter initiates the following electronic door lock system functions:

The RKE transmitter has a minimum effective range of 10 m (33 feet).

NOTE:
  • The panic alarm feature only operates when the key is OFF.
NOTE:
  • The LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the RKE transmitter operate independently of key position.

The RKE transmitters (up to 6) are programmable and must be programmed at the same time.

To confirm that the doors are locked, press the LOCK button again within 3 seconds of the first press. The parking lamps flash if the doors have locked and all doors are closed.
