Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Removal/Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] .)
  2. Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT .)
  4. Remove the under cover. (See TRANSVERSE MEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Disconnect the CKP sensor connector.
  6. Remove the installation bolts to remove the CKP sensor.
