DTC P0223 [AJ] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

TP sensor No.2 circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If the PCM detects that TP sensor No.2 voltage at PCM terminal 2AI is 4.9 V or above
after the ignition switch is ON, the PCM determines that the TP circuit has a malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

- TP sensor No.2 malfunction
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power circuit between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AI
- Open circuit between throttle body terminal E and PCM terminal 2AN
- Open circuit between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AI
- PCM malfunction
