Keyless Receiver Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] ).
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the glove compartment. (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  4. Disconnect the keyless receiver connector.
  5. Remove the nut, then remove the keyless receiver.

  6. Remove the screw.
    NOTE:
    • The screw which fixes the keyless receiver and bracket is for a body ground connection.
  7. Push the stopper in with a small screwdriver and remove the bracket.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
