Liftgate Latch And Lock Actuator Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] ).
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the liftgate trim. (See LIFTGATE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  4. Remove the bolts, then remove the liftgate latch and lock actuator.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
