Brake System

The brake system has the following components:

• fixed position foot pedal.
• vacuum-assisted power brake booster.
• front-to-rear split hydraulic system.
• front disc brakes utilizing a single piston floating brake caliper.
• rear drum brake system (base brake system).
• rear disc brakes utilizing a single piston floating brake caliper (4-wheel disc brake system).
• mechanical parking brake system utilizing the rear drum brakes (base brake system).
• mechanical parking brake system utilizing a drum-in-hat within the rear disc brakes (4-wheel disc brake system).
• 4-wheel anti-lock brake system (4WABS). See ANTI-LOCK CONTROL - (4WABS) .
