Steering Lock Module: Removal

Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder. See IGNITION SWITCH LOCK CYLINDER .

Remove the upper steering column shroud.

Remove the lower steering column shroud.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Remove the lower steering column shroud.
  NOTE:
  - Clean all metal shavings and debris after cutting slots in the steering lock module bolts.

Cut slots into the heads of the shear-off bolts to remove.
- Discard the shear-off bolts.
