Window Control Switch Inspection - Passenger Side

  1. Remove the window control switch. See WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH  .
  2. Inspect for continuity between the window control switch terminals using an ohmmeter.

    PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION CHART

    Circuit to test Connect self-powered test light or ohmmeter to terminals Move key to these positions A good switch will indicate
    Window adjust switch 3 and 5 Up Closed circuit
    3 and 2 Down Closed circuit
    1 and 2
    6 and 5    		 Rest Closed circuit
  3. If not as specified, replace the window control switch.
