Selector Lever: Installation

Install the shifter assembly.

- Install the shifter and the 4 bolts.
- Connect the electrical connector.
  Tightening Torque:
  
  25 Nm {2.5 kgf-m, 18 ft-lbf}
Install the shift cable to the gearshift assembly.

- Connect the shift cable end to the gearshift lever.
- Install the shift cable to the bracket.
  NOTE:
  - If necessary, connect the electrical connector.
  NOTE:
  - If the parking brake was applied to remove the finish panel, release the parking brake.
Install the top finish panel.

Install the upper shift lever trim ring.

- To install the upper shift lever trim ring, orient the thick tab on the driver side front of the shifter and press into place.
Adjust the shift cable. See SELECTOR LEVER CABLE ADJUSTMENT .
