Cruise Control Switch Inspection [AJ]

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] , or DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
Disconnect the audio control switch connector.
Measure the resistance and inspect for continuity between the cruise control switch terminals using a tester.
- If not as specified, replace the cruise control switch.
