Seat Weight Sensor Control Module Removal/Installation [Two-Step Deployment Control System]

CAUTION:

When the seat weight sensor control module is replaced with a new one, perform the seat weight sensor calibration using the WDS or equivalent. (See SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CALIBRATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the passenger's seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the seat under tray. (See FRONT SEAT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY .)
Remove in the order indicated in Fig 1.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
