Removal and Installation
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING .
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
- Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt and the wheel speed sensor.
- To install, tighten to 27 Nm (2.8 kgf-m, 20 ft-lbf).
NOTE:- Plug the sensor cavity and thoroughly clean the sensor mounting surface.
NOTE:- Inspect the anti-lock brake sensor O-ring for damage; lightly lubricate the O-ring with axle lubricant.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
