Key Interlock Solenoid Inspection

Remove the battery duct and battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] ).
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the key interlock solenoid connector.
Measure the continuity between terminals A and B.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the key cylinder. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
