NO.2 MIL ILLUMINATES [BP, BP WITH TC] DESCRIPTION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

2 MIL illuminates
DESCRIPTION 
  • MIL is illuminated.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • PCM illuminates for emission-related concern (DTC is stored in PCM).
  • Short to ground circuit between MIL (located on instrument cluster) and PCM
    NOTE:
    • If MIL blinks at steady rate, misfire condition could possibly exist.
