Secondary Coil Winding

  1. Disconnect the ignition coil connector.
  2. Remove the ignition coil. (See IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Measure the resistance using an ohmmeter as shown in Fig 1:
    • If not as specified, replace the ignition coil.

    Resistance (Reference) 

    1. 5.0-6.0 kilohms [25 °C {77 °F}]
