Speed Sensor Rotor Inspection - Rear Axle

  1. Remove the speed sensor; See SPEED SENSOR, REAR AXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  2. View the speed sensor rotor teeth through the rear axle speed sensor hole.
  3. Rotate the rear axle and check the ring teeth for damage or breakage.
    NOTE:
    • Dented or broken teeth could cause the anti-lock system to function when not required.
