Seat Bucket Front Removal/Installation: Installation

All seats 

  1. Position the seat in the vehicle.
  2. Connect the safety belt pretensioner electrical connector.

  3. Vehicles with 60 percent seat 

    NOTE:
    • The SuperCab and Regular Cab safety belts route differently. Note belt position for correct installation.

  4. Install the front bolts.

  5. Move seat to forward most position.
  6. Install the rear bolts.

  7. Using the special tool 501-010, install the safety belt buckle bolt.

  8. Slide the safety belt buckle bolt covers on the safety belt and position in place.

  9. Vehicles with 40 percent seat 

  10. Install the front bolts.

  11. Position he seat to its forward most position.
  12. Install the rear bolts.

  13. All seat 

  14. Repower the SRS. See SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEACTIVATION AND REACTIVATION .
  15. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. See AIR BAG SYSTEM ON - BOARD DIAGNOSIS .
