Transmission Range Sensor: Installation

Install TR sensor on manual lever. Install TR sensor bolts and finger tighten them. See Figure . Adjust TR sensor. See TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR under ADJUSTMENTS. Tighten TR sensor bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install manual selector lever and nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect TR sensor harness connector. Install shift linkage and adjust if necessary.
