PINPOINT TEST 2 - NO POWER IN ACC

PINPOINT TEST 2 NO POWER IN ACC
STEP INSPECTION ACTION
1 CHECK THE WIPER AND RADIO FOR NORMAL OPERATION
  • Key ON.
  • Test the wiper and radio for normal operation.
  • Do the wiper and radio operate properly? 
 Yes Go to step 2.
No See NO POWER IN RUN .
2 CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE IGNITION SWITCH
  • Disconnect ignition switch connector C-250.
  • Measure the voltage between ignition switch connector C-250 pin 2, circuit Y harness side and ground.
  • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
 Yes Replace the ignition switch.
See IGNITION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
Test system for normal operation.
No Repair Y wire. Test the system for normal operation.
