Starter Removal/Installation: L3

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] .)
  3. Remove the under cover.
  4. Remove the clutch release cylinder. (See CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove in the order indicated in Fig 1.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
