Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT .

Disconnect the ignition wires.

Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors.

Remove the bolts and remove the ignition coil.
CAUTION:
- Correct installation of the ignition wires is critical to engine operation. If one spark plug wire is not correctly installed at either the spark plugs or the ignition coil, both spark plugs connected to the ignition coil may not fire under load.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
