High-Tension Lead Inspection

  1. Remove the high-tension lead. (See HIGH-TENSION LEAD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Measure the resistance using a tester.
    • If not within the specification, replace the high-tension lead. 

    Resistance 

    1.0-4.0 kilohms [20 °C {68 °F}]
