Water Pump Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Remove the air cleaner.
  2. Remove the timing belt. See TIMING BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the exhaust manifold insulator. See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [BP] or EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [BP WITH TC] .
  4. Set the A/C compressor out of the way.
  5. Remove in the order indicated in the figures.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
