Possible Causes

SAS control module configuration error can be caused by SAS control module improperly configured or SAS control module malfunction

1. Inspect SAS control module
   
   Using scan tool, perform SAS control module configuration. See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)  under DIAGNOSTICS. If DTC B2477 is retrieved and performing present malfunction diagnosis, replace SAS control module. If DTC B2477 is not retrieved, test is complete.
