Headliner Removal/Installation

  1. Remove A-pillar assist handles, if equipped.
  2. Remove both A-pillar trim panels.
  3. Remove both B-pillar trim panels. See B-PILLAR TRIM (REGULAR CAB) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  or see B-PILLAR TRIM (CAB PLUS - 2-DOOR) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  for 2-door vehicles. See B-PILLAR TRIM (4-DOOR) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  for 4-door vehicles.
  4. Remove the sun visors and sun visor brackets.
  5. Remove the assist handles, if equipped.
  6. Remove the map/dome lamp assembly. See MAP/DOME LAMP ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  7. Remove the coat hook.
  8. Remove headliner.

  9. Install in reverse order of removal.
