Belt Deflection
Inspect the drive belt deflection when the engine is cold, or at least 30 minutes after the engine has stopped. Apply moderate pressure, 22 lbs. (98 N), midway between the specified pulleys. See Fig 1
and Fig 2
. If the deflection is not within the specification, adjust as necessary. See BELT DEFLECTION/TENSION SPECIFICATIONS
